Shea's Birthday Party

Saturday morning we headed out to Noah's friend Shea's Birthday party. It was at park close to Shea's house in south orange county. It was a little chilly out but in the sun it was a perfect southern California day. Sure beats 2 feet of snow...........Noah and Shea are checking out the sandbox

Noah found his way onto the jungle gym and down the slide......again and again and again

Next it was time for cake and the pinyata - Noah gave it a few good whacks but no candy, the candy came after the older kids got there chance

Back to the Sandbox for more fun .......

And lastly a photo opportunity that I couldn't pass up....... following the taking of this picture I had to climb the jungle gym and try it for myself (and the request of Noah)

Mommy and Lola hung out with some of the other new babies and mommies catching up on all the latest news and happenings.

Cayces Holiday Party

Friday Night we got to go to Cayce's compay holiday party. She may be out on leave but was still invited (requested would be a better word......) The night started with some great italian food. Firsts and seconds were in order for most in attendance.....

A few of those in attendance enjoying their food and posing for the camera

Now it was time for the Game of the evening..... This year it was a cookie design contest. We broke up into 5 groups and were all given a theme in which to design our cookies...... Let the Fun begin !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

During the cookie baking all of the Cast Members (empolyee's) were asked to see if they really knew there fellow cast memebers. Can you spot the Lies..........

After finding out who could read through all the lies it was time to Judge the Cookies.
The Judges - Dan, Brent and Josh

THE WINNER - Humpty Dumpty

Second Place (or the First Loser)

Third Place - Can we Say CALIFORNIA !!!!

Jingle Bells

And Finally - Bringing up the rear My entry and the most tasty
COOKIE MONSTER

The night finished itself off with a spirted gift exchange in which nobody was hurt but some were left to figure out what to do with their gift....... Luckly we ended up with a Spongebob popcorn Tin, something Noah has not set down since we gave it to him. Once agian the cast memebers of LindaMood-Bell put together a wonderful evening of fun and friends. Happy Holidays to all and to all a good night.

Back To Work

Well after being off for close to a month, I returned to work last week. Not much has changed. We did recieve shippment of our 2 new cranes before I left and now they are up and running. The picture below is of the new cranes still on the vessel that delivered them. It was a incredible sight to see these massive cranes on a small vessel.

Once they got them off the vessel and onto the dock they started the long process of raising the "house" of the crane and getting everything operational.

Just a little photographic shot (click the picture to enlarge)

Lastly I wanted to share this sunset shot I got. This is one of our other docks that we operate in Long Beach. This shot was taken from the end of our dock looking south. This is the last sunset I think I'll get a shot at untill daylight savings time returns.......(click pic for fullsize image)

Lola Jean

On October 18 at 4:00pm Lola Jean joined our family. She weighed in at 8lbs 11ozs and was 20 1/4 inches long. She is happy and healthy and keeping Mommy and Daddy busy.

Once home she had to get the approval from Gordon, who was interested for a second then return to his daily routine of sleep.

Noah loves his baby sister and was very interested. He is mommies biggest helper and is doing great as a Big Brother. He loves to give Lola hugs and kisses.

He is even happy to take his turn holding Lola.

Lola has found the pacifier (Noah made sure she knew what it was........)

Lola and Noah in Noah's "Big Boy Bed"

And of course, Lola ready to cheer for her favorite team.......... GO CHARGERS!!!!!!!!!

Halloween 2007

HAPPY HALLOWEEN - Hope all is well with everyone and Yes I know "Its about Time" I'm going to start our return to blogging with last nights Halloween adventure. First picture is of Noahs first pumpkin (Noah designed and Daddy carved) Baby Lola stayed at home with grandma and helped hand out candy so her pictures will be in the next post.

Noah got to be his favorite fish for Halloween - NEMO. Here he is with the witch getting ready to go Trick-O-Treating

Off and running for the car, hes is ready to hit Downtown Huntington Beach. And I'm sure you noticed the pumpkin socks that match (Thanks Mom)

Here we are ready to go, Nemo and Ariel. Ariel is Noah's friend Hailey (Daughter of Cayce's friend Megan). Noah was the only Nemo swimming around Main Street on Halloween and made quite the impression on everyone.

One of the stores had this pumpkin in their window - I couldn't pass it up. I hope everyone had a safe and sane Halloween.

BTW - I have to Thank Kim for the insight on making these blogs alot easier and less fustrating. At this rate I might get more posted.......................Keith

Happy New Year - A Little Late

Happy New Year Everyone. Hopefully everyones year started out well. As you can see in the picture, mine didn't. To make a long story short, I ruputured my Achellies Tendon and had to have surgery to repair it. I have sugery on Jan 9th and get to be in this lovely cast untill Feb 26th at which point I get to learn how to walk agian.....Yeah.

As for the Family, we are all doing well. Cayce is busy working and taking care of most everything since I'm on crutches and of no help around the house. She enjoys spending every moment she can with Noah watching him grow.

Noah is now moving close to the 18 month mark and keeping both Cayce and I busy chasing him around the house and keeping him busy. He enjoys getting into everything he can and loves the bath. His newest find is the "Potty" He wants to go potty all the time. I guess that will make potty training easier.

Well enjoy the pictures and I

will try to get on here more often to update things with the Korhonen's
